Thanks for the good wishes.
Rather comedic in some respects;
We'd booked the tickets last weekend, and had a booking reference to quote. Tickets to be collected at the city end of the trip for the second part of the train journey, and the return home.
This was fine with the bus driver, but when we arrived at the country railway station, they said it had been cancelled because we hadn't visited to collect the tickets in time. (from the station 100+km away!?) But that's OK, we'll just issue the tickets here and now, he says.
We arrive at the hospital with an hour to kill before the appointment.
When we were called in, the first thing the clinician said was that somehow Mrs A had been listed for the wrong department, and you will probably have to come back another day because the right department was both fully booked and short staffed.
Bit of grumbling later, they managed to slot us in, and FOUR specialists attended her
Decision on action deferred until they get more scan history from Ballarat.
Beep--phone message arrived as I write; come in again 3rd November.
