Hello Peter
well after a period of time to make sure the driver was really
up to snuff and making some adjustments to my FS
and FS manager. I can say the driver is probalbly
one of the best driver updates released..
I can turn up all the slides and click all the boxes in the
FS display options.
here are a few picks of the Piper PA22 Tripacer
the screenies have been modified in PS 6.0 slight adjustments with
levels , unsharp mask and the green piper I touched up the
Piper name on the ac to make it read better......
...but no hocus pocus

the Landing on the mountian was a trick .......have to hold the
RPM up a tad to keep it from sliding backwards down the
slope add a bit more with rudder , spin around and off ya go.

I'm using an NVidia GeForce 6200 256Mb graphics card. I downloaded the new driver and adjusted the FS9 config as suggested above. The frame rates have dropped from my usual 50 to 80 fps to an average of 7 fps. The textures have a habit of 'dropping off' an aircraft in external view for screenshots and will not come back until a complete power off restart of the system is initiated. Overall, unimpressed.

Hi Sean

Nice to see you

I have not tried this upgrade but what you describe happened a while ago when I upgraded my driver with the addition I was eventually getting a messagage saying my paging memory or something was being increased.

So for some reason I had a memory hit.

I put the old driver back.

Hi Garry,

Good to see you too, I'll reinstall the drivers bundled with the card and see if I can get it back to how things were.

huh mine is working good........ I had to make some changes like i said
to the interface for the graphics driver and make adjustments
to FS manager which helps ,, for me I say it's way better then what I had
why it hasn't seamed to help every one across the board
using Nvidia cards .......I havn't got a clue ........sory :dunno:

Your drivers are not correctly installed and there are possibly remnants of old ones in there.
