I've been trying to work him out.

I gave up trying to work him out after about 5 seconds! He's the most
unfunny person I've seen or heard in a long time.
Just a thought:- Isn't it amazing how quickly threads can go off-topic?

Yes Keith,
But maybe not so far in this case as I think Peter Kay comes from another planet!

Oh well, I guess its Northern thing with Peter Kay. He really is very popular in the North West of England.

That would be it Eddie.
All the stuff I have seen is Northern orientated.
I suppose if you know that way of life intimatetly then a variation of it can be funny.
But that would be lost on us

When he eventually says something that gets a laugh, he repeats it four times.
Jim Davidson usually makes me chuckle.

Lets see how many simultaneous threads can be kept going in one thread
Leif: Groundhogs and Strawbs - bit of a contrast.
Groundhogs were good but Strawbs a bit too folksy for my taste. BUT I did see them live in a pub - they originated from near where I lived in West London.
Garry: so where can we listen to some of your music? Not got a few MP3s for download?
