Hmm.. I'm sure I see them on my XP system. I remember attempting to drive around the island once and being run off the road by AI vehicles

I'll have another look though

George..
I think you have to have road traffic set to at least 30%. Mine was set at 20% on the XP machine and I didn't see a single vehicle so I cranked it up and they started coming from everywhere

Typically, I chose a place to land where road traffic 'spawned' directly behind me so I didn't see them for a while

30% seems the bare minimum though. Don't recall ever seeing any on St Martins but you get them on Tresco as well as the main island
EDIT: I've just looked at the manual and 30% is the minimum for road traffic

The problem with my XP system was that I had no road traffic and very few lights. I was missing 6 libraries
I now see the traffic and the whole place is lit up like Blackpool
However, the average fps is 10

Ah.. no gain without pain hey
There's an option on the install routine to have street lighting but it's recommended for high-end systems only. I've always had them athough my system is far from high-end

I've never seen any tractors working in fields or stuff like that though and I probably spend more time flying around the area than anywhere else in the UK.. there and St Just anyway

Unless you buy the products on cd/dvd, you
have to use the ESI Installer to get them onto your pc and even if you
have cd/dvd copies.. you can't install the software without it going online thru the ESI Installer. This said.. what happens if you want to install it to a pc without an online connection

I dunno is the simple answer but there is a way to do it I'm sure

Once you have hard copies on your pc.. there's no need to use the installer again as long as you know which files go where and in which order. I didn't 'install' Guernsey this time. I just copied the files to my EarthSim folder and Guernsey was there. In order to use the airport, I had to add the ALT file to Scenery\World\Scenery then physically add EGJB in FSX

It does have it's advantages but it's still a pain in the butt
