Yep, Derbys at the rear on those photos, Notts at the front (because we're the best, obviously
)

OK.. I have a suitable doner.. Avon and Somerset use the same colours.. just a finlet change, reg change and getting those badges. Bob's your uncle

Here she is..

Like the other Police paints.. the blue looks too blue in certain lights. GNMID in particular looks black like the MD902's. However.. it'll do for now

Yes mate.. just read your post again and realised I have Derby at the front and Notts at the rear. An easy fix

I don't have it currently, but I think this thread will make me
And regarding the blue, I'm pretty sure ours is black and not the dark blue like some others. I can't say for certain but I'll pop down to the pad when I'm back at work. It's only a 10 minute drive over the border from where I work and I'm sure I can think of a reason to nip round..

Hello Mate
Rgr that
Making it black as per the real one (I thought it looked black and not dark blue) will be rather more work than a cut and shut but what the heck.. I'd sooner have it right
In the meantime.. here she is in blue clothes with the logo's the right way round

Darned shame Nemeth didn't go the whole hog and make a Police version if the 135. As I've said before, even with cameras/lights in the wrong place, it'd look better than no cameras/lights at all
It's not like only one or two forces use the 135

Looks brilliant so far in any case. I agree about the police version, can't think of a better reason to have some low flights over the cities than tracking down baddies! I'm sure people would have brought it even it it was a couple of quid extra.
I may be wrong on the black, it may well be very very dark blue, but black is sticking in the back of my mind for some reason.

Re: Who's Office might this be?
No worries mate. I've already found that every single UK Police 135 is painted different.. no two are exactly the same.. buggers
Some have yellow finlets like NMID.. others have yellow upper and chequered below.. some have blue uppers and chequered below. Add to this the yellow cabin paint is the same on some but not all (NMID and POLA a point in question!). Some have the tail reg at a jaunty angle.. POLA has it straight. Some say POLICE on the underside.. others don't. It's only when I started farting around with paints I realised I couldn't grab one and make it fit the rest and the more I looked, the more differences I found
To make a black one will be a completely new paint but that in itself isn't a bad thing even though I have a great majority of the forces already covered. They were cut'n'shuts for the most part but even so.. NMID took a couple of hours. If it IS black, then I can make it from scratch and it can be released.. to you if no one else

I agree, I always thought they were the same (or extremely similar) but the more I look the more differences I find. More of a rough theme than a national standard.
I'll find out for sure before you go to the the trouble of doing something which might be wrong, although, not wanting to rub it in to everyone else on here, I'm on leave until the 2nd Feb :p
Rumour has it that we'll possibly be getting a second back-up aircraft at Ripley following the formation of the national service. Just parade room rumour though so it could be the total opposite! (although it's usually spot on with who's having an affair with who!
