Classic British Flight Sim

Hi guys

I've downloaded the cabs on my laptop (Vista) before I got my desktop (XP Pro) up and running again. Just tried downloading them on desktop and when I unzip the folder I get two further zipped files that flag as empty or corrupted????

Back to the laptop, check the download there and it's definitelt 2 cabs, transfer them onto memory stick and all ok, put memory stick in desktop and they're back to a pair of zipped files again

Any ideas????

Oops diregard, it's just an icon issue that's confusing me.

I found Bens cabs were not a fix for the 510 series but the xml that David M posted in his last message did the trick

I don't tend to use the 510 that much, but I'll get round to it in due course.

Beginning to like this FSX thingy

Well, the APU starts just fine, problem is you can't turn it off!

If you turn the APU Master Switch off, the APU and APU generator continues running.

Only way to shut down the aircraft is to trip the APU generator and turn the Battery switch off, the APU will then run down.

If you then turn the Battery master back on again, the APU will begin its start cycle all by itself, even with the APU master off.

Aircraft is perfectly flyable and I am enjoying exploring FSX with it amongst others, FSX seems to run better on my PC than FS9

Just checked out the APU on the 510 1-11 after climbing out of the comet , and she works just fine
Battery master on All gens to trip : Apu master on Press apu start Apu spools up and lights Reset Apu generator volts appear on meter.
Apu master to off Apu spools down eventually generator fail light comes on volts go to zero
Went through procedure several times and no probs
510 series seems a better fix than the 200 one

Hi chaps, you need to use the code fix that DM posted, and its different for the 510 (he posted two separate bits of code)

This is on top of the cabs you put up?
