A simple answer to this one John.. no, I'm afraid not. There's an issue with it at present we're not completely certain of so rather than risk any similar questions, I've removed the screenie ;)

DTR2 (et-al)..

What prog do you use for compiling your AI ship routes?? I quite like the look of that auxilliary ICW your task force and would like to be able to keep it with Ark and Hermes on their trips around the globe :) BenW made the ones I use as I'm incapable (in FSX)

If you install the Nimitz and then AIcarriers (both freeware) you get entire fleets including tankers etc.
Edit the carriers.cfg file in the AIcarriers install directory and copy the last entry adding the Ark. Then you'll get the supply ships, tankers and destroyers.
I'll post my entry when I get onto my game pc.
Looking at my first picture that supply ship looks a bit like a liberty ship?

BTW anyone got any additional boats or maybe some subs to add to the fleet?

DTR..

Rgr that. There's a nice Uboat over at FS Shipyard which can be piloted too :) I downloaded it yesterday and took a handful of shots ICW Ark which I'll post later. Also pulled the Clemenceau from there.. a v nice model which utilises a couple of default Ticonderoga class ships. I'll post shots of that too later ;)

NATO Ops..

Blue forces (Ark Royal and German Navy U Boat) rendezvous off the CI to launch an attack on the Orange Forces of the French Navy, recently sailed from Brest..

The U Boat submerges leaving Ark to stay out of harms way..

.. but close enough to launch a low level attack!
Image

Safely onboard for tea and tiffin. Note the airbourne safety helicopter, visible in the previous shot too..
Image

Plenty of detail on Clemenceau and a choice of very high res or standard textures..
Image

Bon Voyage mon ami.. until the next time ;)

What a great sequence of shots there, Dave! Well worth the effort you put into setting it all up.

It looks like great fun, too!

Ian :)

Agree with Ian, looks like you had loads of fun doing that Dave, you could now set up an on-line Nato Naval and RAF exercise with others and really go for it.

Regards
Nigel.

Anything is possible Nigel :xgrin:

This part of FSX I like but much is still new to me and it's taking a while getting my head around it. I still do any serious flying in FS9 but FSX is good for going back to sea without the complete boredom of 'Ship Only' Ship Simulator ;)
