Hi Dave

So are you going to split your time between Concorde and the Rapide? :)

Oh heck!! Now I am confused.......BIG TIME!!

Just realised that this subject is about Concorde from

A) Just Flight
and
B) SSTSIM?

Please tell me as I think I'm having a double helping of senior moments but.....is the Concorde sold by Just Flight the same one from SSTIM? :brick:

If not then which one is or likely to be.......the better one to go for? :dunno:

Sorry, but it's me age!!

Nigel.

They are certainly at both extremes of our fleet aren't they  The fact that it'd take me longer to get from Shoreham to Glasgow with the mail in a Rapide (with 5 stops) than it would to go LHR-JFK direct does have a certain appeal  No.. I can't see my hops to JFK in the bent nail will be any more than infrequent, perhaps not at all if I don't pull my finger out and learn how to keep the darned thing in the air!

EDIT..
Nigel, they're different entities I think. The one onsale from JustFlight (the one featured above showing the flightdeck) is the PSS model (PSS now defunct). There is another version originally released by Altitude, now under the auspice of SSTSim (a free upgrade from Altitude to SSTSim is available for those with the older model). The SSTSim model is the newer one of the 3.. PSS/JustFlight being the oldest (I think) with the now unavailable Altitude Concorde somewhere in the middle.. if that makes sense.

I DID IT CHAPS!! Just landed JFK after a nerve-wracking atlantic crossing. Did have a small 'moment' when number four ran down after fuel starvation about an hour out of JFK but I somehow managed to get the old girl going again after a panic-striken scan of the overhead panel and the miraculous location of the start buttons!

1500ft, 180kts - heaven knows why they took us into 13L right over Manhattan!! Great view though...

HOORAH!! I'm off for a large G & T
