The Reindeer was that the one with James Stuart who was telling them the tail would come off
I remember seeing a pic of that at Blackbushe with the reg G-AFOH (unused) on the side.
The caption was " A rare picture of a frightfully rare aeroplane cum can opener with a Halton screaming to get out taken on the blasted heath at Bluckbushe many years ago" or something along those lines
So I take it that meant the mock up was built around a Halton...looked like it might have been taxyable.
This was in an very early Aircraft Illustrated.
It would be nice to see that pic again having not seen it for about 25 plus years.
Would be interesting to see how many bits are recognisable out of whatever they did make the film prop from.
Even though it was fake I wish I could find a pic of it just out of curiosity..I do remember watching the film on TV many years ago.
