Correct Dave,
It is indeed Newark Air Museums Meteor FR.9 modified by Rolls Royce for testing the RB108 jet-lift engine for the Short SC.1.
I had thought it might keep you guy's guessing for a little longer than that!! :shock: Oh well. Your go Dave. Your frantic seach for a photo starts . . . . NOW!!!

That particular aircraft is absolutely stunning.. apart from the lump on it's back!! :tuttut: She has a different nose to the standard Meatboxes of the day and really does look a thing of great beauty.. to me anyway

I'm sure Alex will post a full size pic of the old girl so you can see for yourself
