OK OK Very funny!
Well, I
do remember muffin the mule (- but I think I got away with it as the farmer never found out! :huf:)
And I
might remember Leif's girlfriend as I was sniffing around DanAir at around the same time! Mine was a No.1 called Susie something and, who knows, we may all have drunk at the same places. The Hunter's Moon? And what was that other bar, Leif? The Gatwick Flying Club or something like that? I would probably have been drinking pints of Red Barrel  (and driving a Cortina 2000GT).

The one presented that sticks in my mind is Peter Glaze
More sort of unforgetable rather than memorable

Oh Lord! How cool was that! A 5 11 hostie and a Cooper. I'm sure I would have remembered that sight (but sadly I don't

).
The six bells I do remember as I selected the first Mrs Speedbird from a house full of Laker girls in Horley

Thanks for the link. Now I remember the music, they always played the current number one.
Two and a half months of "Those Were the Days" and the other song I can still remember seeing on Crakerjack was "The Legend of Xanadu" by Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Titch.
Those old enough will now have that stuck in their heads for the next few days.
Sorry.

Garry
Is their time for a rousing chorus of "I'm the Urban Spaceman"?
