Just to completely do this topic to death.

There is a lovely Ken Mitchel 2d Trislander panel for it on All Nodes which I personally prefer.

Filename: bn3panel.zip

Also on All Nodes the previous version of the model if you are running 2k2.

Filename: trisprev.zip

And the Roger Guy model complete with FSAviator FDE's albeit for 2k2 again on Flightsim.com

Filename: rggjoey3.zip

With the amendments to the VC and contact points outlined on this thread and with the additional files above there should be a Trislander to suit everyone.....

....Unless you want a short nose version that is....

And if it feels like flying like a tin-shed with a metal plank strapped across it, even if it is a NACA 23012 plank, then surely its 'as real as it gets' :dunno:

Hello to all as I post for the first time in this forum, :)

As a late contribution to this thread , many thanks to Alan Cottrill for his .cfg file tweaks for the Trislander and the Vc lights fix - it definitely qualifies as a 'keeper' in my hangar after the modifications.

i have to say that the install method is quirky  , but it is worth persevering.

The sound of those three engines on throttle back is reason enough to hang on to it :agree:

Regards.........Stuart

And very nice they are too

Over at www.classicbritishfiles.com now

Garry and the Ministry -- Gary J presented me with proper letters from Marcel before I published them

Leif, the reason we advised that they couldn't be published was that we were told that the sources came from several different soundset, not just Marcels, so we stand by what we said, unless of course, what Gary J said was wrong ;)

I understood Ben

I was just making it clear the only out sourced sound files were Marcels, he used some modified MSFS sounds files and some of his own

Hi Guys, to hopefully clear things up. Over the many years of collecting fs planes, I've come across endless sound files for many types of aircraft be it jet or prop, all with the same file names. This makes it a big pain in the ar** when trying to find who made the originals. This happened to me. I was rummaging in old sound folders unable to find author readme's.
I posted a question to you blokes for help.
I decided to spend an eternity slowly back tracking through the folders and old planes. Eventually i came across files created by Marcel kuhnt's Islanders and found they matched the ones i'd chosen. So i asked him for his kind permission to use them and He gave it. I then added my own recordings from real planes, blended the whole recipe and now there available....and legal.

Thankyou Leif for uploading and giving me a chance.

Check YT for trislander vids for comparison....not a bad first attempt :hide:

Cheers

Gary

They are both starting to take hits over at the Pond -- I used a couple shots of the repaint Peter Watkins did of the protoype Islander as thumbnails.

Thnaks for submitting and keep up the good work

If you get close to anything with a Pobjoy Cataract in it (Swallow , Comper Swift) tell me -- we are desperatly trying to put a sound file together for use with
Paul Gausdens excellent Swallow , and for several other Pobjoy engined models.!!!!
