is there any way to alter the view so that you can see / operate the starters?
I added this additional Camera view to my aircraft.cfg's (works for the S.1 as well) :

[CameraDefinition.002]
Title = "Left Console - Fuel Cocks"
Guid = {18EF1F08-7138-4530-948C-07698E51940B}
Origin = Virtual Cockpit
MomentumEffect = No
SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel
SnapPbhReturn = FALSE
PanPbhAdjust = Swivel
PanPbhReturn = FALSE
Track = None
ShowAxis = FALSE
AllowZoom = TRUE
InitialZoom = 0.7
SmoothZoomTime = 0.5
ZoomPanScalar = 1.0
ShowWeather = Yes
XyzAdjust = TRUE
ShowLensFlare=FALSE
Category = Cockpit
PitchPanRate=20
HeadingPanRate=90
InitialXyz=-0.185069739818573, -0.24390511214733124, -0.071151778101921082

Bought! :) A bargain at £9.57

I just decided to fly the S.1 a little more, so this is good timing.

Anyone know how well the Canberra packs stand up to FSX?

I haven't tried them in a few years mate, but there were a lot of issues on my system, not just system wise, but visually, where the polys seemed to break through the textures. No problem in FS9 though as far as I recall.

Guy's..

Do you see the smoke ok at idle and small throttle openings? Probably my system but I see it kinda flashing until the levers are whacked open. This is only near the exhausts.. further into the plume, it's fine *-)

Yes.. certainly a bargain for under a tenner. I was able to order without getting prior clearance and keep a clear conscience :lol:

Just peachy. I copied over my entire FS9 install to FSX. Their forum has a download to address the glass textures.

The only issue are some of the VC switches which do not work under FSX. Not a big deal if you use shortcuts or the popup panels instead.

All the animations and effects work, as well as the Shockwave lights.

I'm now waiting for the release of the JustFlight PR.9 to compliment the entire Flying Stations cranberries.. :thumbsup:

Looks like I'll need to give it another go, Cheers for that :thumbsup:

Can anyone get the Buc S2 to start manually? I'm doing what I think I should be doing, but I'm having to resort to CTRL + E and even then it doesn't always start *-)

[EDIT] Dave, I get the flashing smoke effect too before the throttle is at full chat

Cheers Ben ;)

Oh.. I've not had any luck with CTRL+E. Not tried to manually fire her up yet.. been a bit short of time :rant:

Try Ctrl-Shift-F4 before a manual startup. That is what works for me.

I'd already tried that WH as this is how I'd shut the fuel off in the first place (CTRL+Shift+F1). Tried it again today in case I'd been sloppy with the keystrokes but it still refuses to start :(

EDIT: Out of interest, I just tried this with the S1 and IT won't restart either *-)
