I would be cuatious about using compressed air. On airbrushes you need a water trap because water is squeezed out when the air is compressed and blows onto the paint. In certian.....not all conditions in the past with cans of wind and an airbrush without a trap I had splats of water on the paint.
I can just imagine that being driven deep in to the PC or camera or whatever :o
I would blow things out but only with the airbrush connected to the trap.

Hello Mate
That is also true of these little cans of CA you can buy. You have to make sure the can is at a particular angle or you run the risk of wet stuff coming out too. Most disconcerting! :o They
are handy tools though and if used 'IAW' (which generally means having the component out and not left in situ).. are better in many circumstances than a brush alone ;-)

Dave,
Just in case it is of interest, I can get that error on demand...All I have to do to get it, is try to boot up with one of my external drives switched on and connected...Up comes that error because that external drive has some bootable remnant of Windows XP on it (I think!!). All I have to do is switch off that external drive and reboot and all is normal. With the machine booted I can switch on or connect any of my three external drives with no problems, but they must be off or disconnected for me to Boot the machine

Hi Peter
A valuable note there sir ;-) I have a Phillips external drive connected to this pc which I generally leave switched on as it does away with a sometimes lengthy read process if I turn it on after the pc has started. I've had it turned off for a couple of days and can't remember now if I got that message with it off or on  :brick: I don't really need it on at the mo so I'll leave it off (or turn it on after the pc has booted) and see what pop's up
Tks for that
EDIT..
BTW, I've just checked GPU-Z again to see what's happening and the much cooler morning is noticeable. All those VDDC slave readings are 96deg (some 0 then 96!), the GPU is reading 50deg, the PCB 33deg and the fan is still poodling at 53%. While the card clean up has obviously helped (as has the addition of another fan on the case side).. I'm not convinced the GPU was going 'China Syndrome' on me. We'll see ;-)
