I assumed it only emerged from a purpose meant exhaust for the starter.
Anyone else having this problem or seeing the smoke where it shouldn't be? Like I said, I do get the additional weak puff from the aft exhausts where the pen nib fairings are, but it's minimal.

Steve

Thats what Im seeing in Fs9 - a little smoke around the inboard trailing edge (Air Force terms ;) ) but nothing special - I thought seriously it was supposed
to be there -- do you want fraps?

The light was on the right rear of the tail and not at the end of the tail. It could only be seen from the right side of the plane. I moved it on center and back about 2-3 feet so it sat on the exact rear. Now it can be seen from either side. Just a minor point. Best regards, Bob.

I'm also running it in FSX, and have the problem with the tail light. I'll post a screenshot of it later.

As to the problem of nav lights with the wings folded. On the Wyvern which was released recently, the lights stay in place when the wings fold.

Screenshots as promised. One over Gary Summon's Yeovilton, and another closer shot.

Hello Bob,

From all my scale drawings, the light was where I have it placed, not on the rear of the tail, i.e on the rudder. If you moved it back 2-3 feet from where I had it placed, it would sit right at the end of the rudder, if I am understanding you right. I will say however, that it appears it was also on the port side of where I currently have it placed, which I will duly correct on my model.

As for the wingfold lights, see one of the earlier pages for that discussion. I'll chat to Skippy about how he handled it.

Hi Steven. If you look at the pic in Denniss's post above the light is right above the top left of the 'R" in Royal Navy. In FSX it shows only on the right side. It does not shine in the left hand view. It has an offset of +0.4 ft. from the centerline in the lights section and no additional offset of -0.4 to the left to complement it. Is it only supposed to be shown on the right side? Regards, Bob.

Hello Bob,

Well, originally I thought it was stbd side only, but on further examination it seems to be on the port side as well, which I will duly add. I think we may be on the same page on this, just getting our wires crossed slightly.

Hi Steven. OK. Thanks. I'll put it back where it was originally and add it there on the left side too. Best regards, Bob.

When I turned the light off, I thought I could see a lens where the light had been, so I left well alone.
