Some of us would not know the difference :dunno:
Guess it's too many years of saying "yes dear" when you ain't even heared what was said - just a response to a tone |-) The dam whip things, aerials, poles, things that stick up a bit more than others, Gerry Anderson puppet strings etc will be ammended - although they may be textured pink

Sri Mark.. the whole 'Aerial' thing has taken on a life of it's own  It still looks b1oody good regardless and I'll be buying it even though I don't use FSX very much. I need SOME incentive to use it and a set of Brit Carriers is one such thing guaranteed to make that happen ;-)

Late as usual! Happy as a pig in shit! Absolutely Stunning model and now I have something appropreate to sail from Harlands!!! :welldone: (Assuming its an mdl and not a bgl) Just been looking through the "Jane's Fighting ships 59-60" That I bought a few weeks ago. and the whips aren't easy to make out in the old black and white pics.

Some interesting facts....
Laid down 24 October 1942 - Launched 19 March 1946 - Completed 1 October 1951.
Cost £15,795,000
90% welded
Deck letter was originally "J" before becoming "E" sometime after '57

Really can't wait. :welldone: :welldone: :welldone: :welldone:

One of the best books that is dedicated to the Eagle is "HMS Eagle 1942 - 1978" by Neil McCart. Almost every page has great Photo's etc and a very good account of her history. An interesting fact is that even as the Ark had the re-fit for the Steam cats to enable Phantom opp's and the Eagle missed out because of cut backs and a defence u-turn yet again is was still regarded as a far superior ship regarding electronic fit etc and also proved more reliable during her service and had quite a distinguished carrier.

Well Well, I get back after a new build and format and see this.............great to see another old girl looming for the sim. I seem to
remember this one being worked on some time ago. I'm glad it's going to be for FSX as I finally have it running like silk on the new
build.
If this is the same Eagle, there were going to be other models done as well, would this be correct ?

Nice one
