Taken the plunge, but can't as yet give you a very informative review simply because I haven't had time to really explore it. First impressions of the G/J variant ( the one pictured above with the nose turret ) are good. The exterior G/J model really is streets ahead of the WoP one, as Dan rightly says. Its an incredibly nice aircraft to fly too: I've done two near-perfect landings in it without reading the manual at all. ( And lets face it...who reads manuals anyway ?

)
I'm not going to say anything about the D-variant, because I want to check up on something and maybe ask Dan about it.

I took the plunge, also.

I have the WoP B-24, which I dearly love, but I have to give AS the edge. The panel and the the sound pack are first rate, TSS did a great job.

Modeling and details are superb also. IMHO, the flight dynamics are really good and a little more challenging than WoP's, but that's not a criticism. The overall quality is everything, if not more, that I've come to expect from AS. Pricing is about what I expected. There's a paint kit available, so I'm looking forward to many new paints. (hint hint hint)
AS hit another home run.

Compare various things from canopy shape, wheel shape, tail shape, nose shape, engines.. painted bomb bay doors in the up position.. et al.

Blimey, just noticed the painted-open bomb bay doors. How the heck did that one get past quality control ?? :o
Also, the fuselage looks like its too high off the ground.

Indeed, good use of the paint kit. Those textures took me a long time to do so it's good to see the paint kit getting some light.
