Great Stuff Seaking,
Is that your Predannick Scenery you were working on?
Any joy with the helo's yet?

Took me a few hours but I can now get helos to show, but rotors not burning and turning, I think this could well be
a FS limitation from the forums I have been reading. I have tried several helos now with diff air files. I'll keep at it
they fly great but no rotors turning just doesn't cut it........
Yes that was the Predannack I did long time ago.

Here is the fix....For Spinning rotors....
Check that each fltsim section includes 'prop_anim_ratio=-***'. If not, copy it across from the flyable version of the helicopter you're using. If the line is there, it's just possible that the value is right on the button for the strobe effect to give the appearance that it's stationary. Adding or subtracting 0.1 should get you moving, then you can think about editing it for the rotor speed and direction you're looking for.
Re-reading your post, it isn't clear whether you've swapped the cfg (with modifications) or just the air file. You should do both to ensure that all the necessary fixed wing sections are in place.

Hope you understand that Seaking....?
And also you have got to put over the right contact points and slow the rotor RPM and all will be well.....Any probs let me know.....

I might be onto something here, I changed the engine type in the cfg to 0 and I now have turning rotors but sim will crash, what i'm thinking now is to install a fixed wing air file and rename it as the helo airfile with engine type at 0, am about to try it out

I brought across the cfg as well and edited it as per that link on the fs recorder forum, going to test again now.
