Hi all,
I D/L'd the panel last night and installed it, no time for much testing but I noticed the flap indicator is out of sync, bloody sure I remember this from yonks ago, any way I've changed the cnfg file to rectify that.
Fraser, It would be great to receive the latest files, look forward to that.

Dave, spot on with the pressurisation, fully automatic system only requires a starting base pressure so to speak, after that it adjusts all the way to max diff 4.7psi, (if this old brain is still functioning). infact you had to access the controller through a panel in the floor and override it before you could do a ground pressure check, that's where the big manual dump valve wheel comes into play, you can see it on the co-pilots side panel close to the tiller wheel, we controlled the rate with that beastie.

There have been a few more changes to the original ACA paints (many thanks to Garry) so for those who have already downloaded them, download full versions of all 3 aircraft HERE

No change to the aircraft.cfg file so delete the current 3 paints and replace with these new ones or add them to your Vanguard folder and let all files overwrite ;-)

Thanks for the info re the pressurisation ;-)

Do you know if it maintains the original departure airfield elevation in the cabin until the max differential is reached (and if so roughly what altitude would that be) before increasing the cabin height?

I have sorted the Thermals by removing the FS Anti Ice function and inventing my own, therefore selection to on will show a TGT rise of appx 20'C and a drop in torque of some 30psi. There is no fuel flow or RPM fluctuation.The MIs will show OPEN with the system on but change to MID if the system os on and takeoff power is applied, returning to OPEN when power is subsequently reduced...does that sound right?

I only the 953c which was pretty primitive for pressurisation, can't remember the crew making any changes to the system prior to landing, in fact I don't think there was anything to alter.
It was normal to have some residule pressure in the cabin prior to shut down on the ramp, so great care was taken before opening the door, for this reason I'm thinking that all the bells and whistles were removed from the cargo version, I still have some scars on my eardrums to attest to the fact.

The thermal antice sounds perfect, looking forward to trying out your latest mods.

Fraser.. 3 shots HERE for you ;-) QNH scale adjusted by knob 'B' goes from 900-1050 in increments of 10 You can probably see from the shots in the files I've sent that the 'scale' remains put.. it's the outer section with the window that moves.

Was about to post pre-beta beta :doho: but will hang fire until I can incorporate this. The VSI and fuel gauges are the best shots to date as well so that's a bonus

On the off peak EDI-LHR tonight so will try out what I can ;-)

BTW,to the uninformed, the DB photo archive is to panel designers what Fort Knox, Kentucky, is to the US treasury.

I took a few more too Fraser but didn't go into any great detail on the main panel :brick: The Aircon shot is obviously specific to the Merchantmen (wonder where that oil came from :o ) Glad they were of use ;-)

I suspect it is for the 'ES/'ET config which could carry racehorse grooms in what was the original rear first class cabin ;-)
