Same here. The annoying one was flight stick randomly disconnecting, but otherwise it was mostly fine. Actually, the sea at night was irritating too, but for the most part it worked well. There is no way too uninstall the patch, unless you'd taken a shadow copy before hand, in which case you could roll back to a pre patch recovery point.

I did take a copy of the P3D tree and the configs so I could restore these. I think I might wait until the dust has settled.
I think it may be photographic scenery. They did change it so that the blend / water masks work so the may have clobbered something else. I am testing now with the deault scenery.
Here is a shot immediately before the crash. You can see that the ground is covered by what looks like a huge shadow:

Here's a new one. Every time I try to save my flight where VFR Real Scenery and UK 2000 airports are used, P3DV2 stops working!

Hmm, I have no problem saving a flight
I think I have found the reason for my crash
I replaced the AI Britannia with the default 'commercial jet' and there have been no crashes ater 16 landings.
I stick the Britannia back and see what happens.

Hi George,
I took the vanguard up from Stanstead to Heathrow. Most of the runway and taxiways were covered in what looked like green mist! Also the runway markings were merely outlines with ni white in the middle. This was the EGSS that comes with VFR airfields volume 1. The Thames was green, as though there had been a horrible industrial accident, but i didn't get any if that large shadow you were seeing.

The FS Estonia Migration tool has been updated. Does seem an improved tool for it.

Uninstalled P3DV2 and then installed version 2.1 as recommended by Lockheed and now I have no problems.

Nev, I may go down this road too, but when you say no problems, do you mean none of the issues posted in this thread, or have you not tried these scenarios yet? Just don't want to do all the reinstall if your set up is significantly different to mine

My installation seems to have gone pear-shaped. I think I will need to join you

hi Chaps,
I installed the new NVidia driver tonight and then renamed my prepar3d.cfg file to prepar3d.old so that it built a new one. I think its safe to say almost all of my issues have gone! Ships are sailing, there is not moat around the runway at EGAC and it looks very good. The only thing I have added back to the CFG manually was the path to my AI aircraft folder. I've set the frame limiter to unlimited and VSync is ON. I've increased Mesh resolution to 1m, water detail to ultra, special effects detail to high (all through the GUI and that's it. I've let the default flight start with the F22 which is the default aircraft and it really has made a huge improvement. Well worth a go. p.s. the waves are superb, particularly in stormy weather
