Hi George :hello:

That works a treat mate..

I'm not sure where the original pale blue colour came from but the shot above shows a more realistic colour for a fleet tender. Certainly, this is how they were in my day :) Should you feel like using it, I've uploaded the 3 maps HERE .

I've noticed that without that dratted _lm texture, she's a bit translucent close to but that doesn't really matter :) She's not really a tug either (despite the filename) but a proper fleet 'tender'.. personel/stores.. that sort of thing but I'm equally sure this type would have been used for tug work on an ad-hoc basis. It looks the part in FSX anyway ;)

Interest :)

You can try and make the excuse that it's supposed to be translucent but folks will be able to see right through it.

:-O

I never expected that

You're a bit of a 'crane' bloke. Do you fancy building the monsters seen at Portsmouth and Devonport? I can find reference shots if you feel up to it :)

Hi Dave

Yes :agree:, that was what I was thinking of

The one at Devonport was featured a while back when it was demolished.

There was one at Chatham but that went when they cleared a lot of the Dockyard.

Glasgow and Cowes also had similar

Indeed mate

While investigating earlier (as you do).. it seems that the Clyde had 11 Titan/Hammerhead cranes at one time. I believe that number is now 6 though it may well be lower. One is open to the public :-O Can't say I'm crane mad but I'd like to go up and have a goosey. Bet you get a smashing view.. even of Glasgow
The one in Pompey dominated the dockyard skyline.. there were few places you could go without seeing a bit of it. Shame they've all had to go but in reality, they were darned old. We don't have the Navy left to need them now :(
