There seems to be a problem with AI shipping too. I'll need to check further, but if you come across an ai ship and it reaches a waypoint, it seems to stop. If its on a track between waypoints it will continue until it reaches the next waypoint and stop.

I'm seeing the problems with A2A's Spitfire and Piper Cub, however Accu-Feel appears to be working.
I'm also missing Pilot and passenger from Ant's excellent Tiger Moth.
The heavy aliasing of runway markings remain.

Other than these, it seems to be a good improvement on v2.0. I can now run the frames at unlimited (something I could never do in FSX or earlier P3D versions) and am seeing between 30 to 50 fps.

Kevin

there are a number of little anomalies. Using the QW146 as an example, Nav lights don't show at all. At EGNT (UK2000) the wheels are half sunken into the tarmac, but then on landing at my own EGAC (built using ADE) they sat perfectly on the runway, however there was a 3 foot trench around the runways and aprons. I used REX to inject some real weather and there was one hell of a swell in the Irish Sea. I dropped down to 100FT and the waves where rising and falling properly, not just as an effect, it was very good, but I can't help but think that might be what is stopping my AI ships from moving when they get to a waypoint.

Think I'll stick with FSX for proper simming for now.

Heart-stopping moment earlier. I couldn't load the default flight :S

The only optuon was to do a "Repair". Fortunately that fixed it B-)

BTW. Newcastle Xtreme is fine here.

Like Ben, I've also seen the QW146 with it's wheels sunk into the ground at a UK2000 airfield - this time EGBB. I think we discussed earlier that UK2000 use some different way of making aprons, taxiways and runways as aircraft shadows weren't showing. Perhaps this also effects perceived surface height.
Also, I tried using REX Essential Plus Overdrive to inject some real time weather. It was so foggy and overcast that I could hardly see anything. Thinking that I'd unfortunately chosen an airport that was suffering an unusually bad storm, I moved to different locations around the world where I would expect a sunnier climate, but the weather remained the same.

[Edit]

Just found this on the LM forum -

'For solving the issue in the QW BAe-300 in P3D v2.1 with wheels submerged in the runway, change the following contact points in each BAe aircraft.cfg:

Under [contact points]:

point.0: where is -8.45 change to -8.95

point.1 and point.2: where is -8.65 change to -10.05

Please back up first the aircraft.cfg! This is for the BAe-300 but it should also work for the other models and the Avro (didn't test) because they all have the same contact points'.

Although I haven't tried it yet.

Kevin

Another error is that the light source for shadows is the moon, not the sun.

re the contact points, its best not to change them as you may find you get a floating aircraft at other airfields.

Indeed Ben :agree:

No disrepect to Kevin, but I find it hard to imagine there could be a contact point error as such with the model that would go unnoticed.

I guess you could say the same for the Sun/Moon issue as Ben mentions but that one I suppose is a little easier to imagine getting missed, although, of course it shouldn't be.

This does not bode well. I'll keep my wallet welded shut for the time being then. 8)

Another small but annoying point is the ground shadow in VC mode, it does not show the full model with pilot, only the VC parts.
