Well I've just been playing around with this and I must say I REALLY like the way the engines have been modeled. You can see through the spinning fan blades and the engine core is visible.
If only all fs jets were done like this, a solid spinning disc just looks naff imo.

Thanks for the reminder about the glass dome.
This is one of the best planes I have ever flew. As Calypso said, love the slow approaches and the excellent dynamics. The cockpit is one of the best ever made as freeware. The tool tips helps you to understand Russian and I just love the little placard with the V speeds.

Thanks for showing us that there are other good planes out there other than A or B. Just love the TU-154B.
By the way, the Yak-42 is not complete: according to another forum Samdim should be realising a Loader and the Joy-Di is going to be updated as there are problems with the rudder settings.
Cheers

Hi Nigel
This came up on another thread recently and I mentioned the reason then
It was to help navigate over the huge land areas with virtually no navaids and not many landmarks.
Garry
Ooops! Sorry Garry.
Regards Nigel.

Lots of very nice repaints available now.
This is one of my favorites.
