Hi Toby
Wasn't the "2" a CC2 there certainly is the CC3, not of those being Dominies.... But if re designated it would surely be T4
There are several pics on A.net claiming it to be a T2 so I suppose it's been picked up from somewhere.

Hi Garry, the Dominie has always been regarded as a seperate model. Theres a 125-CC1 (civil equavilent to 125-400), a CC2, (125-600) and a CC3 (125-700) the first two were upgraded with TFE731s and became CC1A and CC2A respectively.
There are various places on the net that refer to the post mid 90s mod versions as T.2 and I need to check the ook as I may have got it from there.

How unusual for the RAF/MOD to make a mistake. Hardly ever happens...........TobyV wrote:Curioser and curioser... the older incarnation of the RAF website mentions a T2 but the present one doesnt
Click here for Google's cache of the old site.
The latest Dominie probably should be called aT2...the fact is it never was renamed... the T1 docs were just updated to reflect the mods. Same will happen after the current Flight Instrument upgrade program ..its staying designated a T1

It looks lovely! One of the last de Havilland designs, wasn't it - the DH.125 Dragon? I like the design - it looks like anyone's stylised drawing of a business jet...
I found this fantastic book, published in the early '80s, where this chap (former chief flying instructor for the CAA, I think) test-flies and reviews several dozen general-aviation aircraft, from the PA-38 and Cessna 152 through Senecas and the Trislander to the King Air and HS.125. It was a brilliant read!
