Excellent - I'll wait for you to sort it all out and I'll aim for next Autumn (Fall).

Do you mean a) 'Why did I etc.'? Or do you mean b) 'Did I etc.'?
If you meant b) Yes
If you meant a) In case any of our Transatlantic cousins are unfamiliar with Autumn. Actually, I don't know which English expression Danes use
Hope this clarifies it for you. Although I doubt it, somehow.....

Just can't bring myself to buy it. I look at it in the shops, pick it up, but then put it back. At the mo I will stick to FS9, but who knows what will happen in the future.

Got it for my B'day and been keeping my head down ever since. Actually I quite like it... FPS border on the interesting at times but the new Generation X scenery has to be seen to be believed. Generally much better than FS9 with subtle improvements in flight and the missions (much derided) are mostly pretty good.
Took a trip around San Fran and the difference between FS9 and FSX is very noticable with FSX looking something like Flight Unlimited (remember that?). Not happy with lots of objects but I've been steering clear of those. Default A/C - some good, some not so; Learjet still has nodding dog syndrome (or is it just my joystick - quick blame of tools).
I've been on hols to Italy a few times and this is the first time that I've seen the fairly modest mount appear in all its (modest) glory - new default terrain mesh is significantly better (also as attested to in Gen X scenery).
On the downside the autumn (falling) textures are absolute cr*p - everywhere (what where they thinking - especially from Seattle where its so bl**dy green at that time of year).
One good thing about FSX - absolutely no chance of a traffic jam (on the roads) each car is exactly the same distance behind the one in front and all travelling at a good speed (clearly not as real as it gets).
It gets my vote (but you probably guessed that already).
