Hi Guys

Been flying this all day.

4 chippies at once including my hand flown one and still reasonable frames.
new 3d gauges make a big difference to smoothness and allow more models at once.

Made Thorney Is AF2 to fit the FSX Horizon Generation X scenery & 3 chipmunks doing their stuff.

Won't be flying FS9 much again (still making models to work in it though)

Regards
Rick

Screenie is too big will sort out in the morning.

so you say you don't have a dream system rick? if so my hopes of FSX (and that scenery package) are still true - now dash them for me :P

Hi Hinch

No it's midrange or lower & no rocketship
but Runs FS9 all sliders maxed at 40 to 60 fps

3.0 ghz P4
ASUS P4P800E-Deluxe
2 gb DDR400
ATI X800 pro

on the uk photo scenery 1 meter with 5 meter mesh
autogen on normal but only the odd bit i get 20 to 50 fps.
20 fps in fsx looks like 30 fps in fs9 to me.

traffic is all set to 25% including cars & ships etc.

it's fun to watch the traffic on the M27 as i turn onto finals for some T&G's
at Thorney Island.

Regards
Rick

That looks awesome. Tbh the only thing I really like about FSX is the new reflections and night sky textures.

Thats a great shot, does FSX permit clouds to cast shadows on the ground?

Great news - it's a sweet little plane.
