Thanks for the assistance everyone.
I also sent another complaint through the back door last night & also asked for an explaination direct from the seller. Not heard anything yet.

I'm still not sure what is the best way to get through to ebay. Can anyone advise the best way?

The way they want you to do it is through the 'Contact Us' link, but it's rubbish.
You can only select 'Listing Policy Breaches', select whatever categories you fancy & enter the item number. No way of getting a proper message across.
The back door route I did last night was something to do with getting the sellers telephone number off ebay, but it also allowed you to enter a proper message to ebay. But I can't remember how to do that now.

Colin or Chris, if it's easy enough, can you give us an idea of how you sent your message.
If it's complicated, don't worry about it.

David

I used the "Contact us" Link as well. I doubt it did much good but you never know  .. Glad it's gone though. What is with these people? From what I saw, it looked to be a CD with the Files on it, not links. Thats even worse :tuttut:

Hi DM,

I went through -

Contact Us
Listing Policy Breaches
Counterfeits & Breach of Copyright
Ebay listing infringes your intellectual property rights
Contact Ebays VERO Programme

This gives you access to a more or less free text email where I put something along the lines of Ivan's message.

No idea whether this is the right route or not :dunno:

Colin

Thanks Colin. I didn't notice that option, it does sound a better one.
I'll look out for that one next time.

Still not heard from the seller.

First I went through the help system to report a counterfeit item which only allows you to enter an item number (listed under reporting a seller for fraudulent activity if memory serves), then I went through the above route to put something down in text.

DM,

My pleasure - it seems a very small repayment for the hours of enjoyment your work have given me.

Best rgds,
