Toby,
Needed to think of a good one! I didn't want to insult anyones intelligence with "You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off", "It's been emotional" or "There's going to be an eruption" so I thought I would go with:
"At least you'll never be a vegetable - even artichokes have hearts."

That sounds a bit like the one "I know you are a journalist now, but you used to be a human being"... I cant even remember what that was from

I dont know, I was just something I watched a bit of on the TV one night
For anyone that didnt get it, mine was "The Fourth Protocol" starring Michael Caine and Pierce Brosnan and AndyG dropped enough hints to convince me he'd correctly guessed it. The line was infact delivered by Ian Richardson who played Francis Urquhart in "House of Cards" and its sequels..

Well, I didn't think the hints were exactly "dropped", more hurled from the top of a cliff.
In terms of the quote I have supplied, strictly speaking it is not the actual quote, but it is the english subtitle used for the quote, from the original french.
