Tempted, but what exactly does it do, and what can you achieve?
At least if Dan moves over, his passengers won't have as far to fall, as they did from his VC10.
Sorry buddy, couldn't resist it!
From now on Dan in regard to that subject it's

Hi matey,
As opposed to just flying free as a bird, the sim starts you off with some of the smaller craft. You need to complete some basic boat handling tests, before you move onto the larger ships.
It is good fun, and some of the container ships can be quite a handfull.
You cant just bang them down on the concrete and hit spoilers and reverse thrust. They take a lot of stopping.
Having said that, I have just taken the Titanic into a small group of islands, and moored her, and I didn't sink her...............!!!
It is good fun, and is only about 16 squid, or there abouts.
Try the demo. Its free.

These are the first shots I've seen of ship sim and it doesn't do anything for me I'm afraid. The graphics don't look bad but it has the appearance of an arcade game about it that I don't care for.
Hope you get some (nautical) mileage out of it anyway Steve

The important thing is what
you think of it not what
I think of it

Fair'nuff Dave.
Remember what the first screenies of FS looked like?
MSFS would not be like it is today, (and still far from perfect......) if it were not for the support, and feedback from the comunnity.
SS is still at the start of its voyage, but the design team seem to be very responsive, and open to suggestions.
I guess it is a bit of an arcade game, but I like it, it is different, and the player can get involved with its developement.
Try getting that out of the MS development team.
