It started when I was little, my parents got me some Steve Martin stand-up comedy albums that I listend to over and over to. On one of the albums he did a routine where he said that Steve Martin was just a stage name, his real name was infact Gern Blanston. It was not the funniest of bits but it was a funny album and when ever I need an alias to use, Gern Blanston often comes out of my brain.
Later when I was signing up for AIM for the first time I was looking for variations of Gern Blanston to use for an ID and finally found that Blanston12 was available. I no longer use that as an AIM id (I got tired of explaining what it ment) but still use it other places (like at CBFS).

I chose "Britishtourer" as I love seeing Britain by land, air or sea! I'm working on my driving and pilot's licences but I already sail with my uncle every now and then.
Get out and explore! It's great fun!
Oh, and if you're my friend you may call me Colin.

Right, here we go....alemaobaiano is what the guys in my local bar call me, and comes from the Brazilian habit of giving everyone nicknames
Roughly translated it means "german from bahia" which is odd because I'm not German, although I do spend some time in Bahia
Stick with me here
Basically any european here is called alemão, but my local already has one alemão, so they had to choose something to differentiate us, because I like Bahia (great beaches, food, music, etc) I became alemãobaiano.
Simple isn't it?

So then, alemaobaiano is short for Tony
Right

Exactly Garry
It works for Brazilians because they have names that read like a phone book, but it gets a bit odd with Brits.....my "short name" has more letters than my full name

is mine not self explanitary?
the reason changed once, and caused another nickname. Hitler. But lets not go there.
Real name is Fred. On saying theat, ther is another Mulletman, on the Project Opensky Forums. He is another Fred. Authough he is a fred nightingale, and paints a few of thier aircraft. its kinda spooky though. When Mulletman is not avalable, i generally change to 'The Magic Mullet'

Hi Fred
I thought The Mulletman was to do with a hairstyle at one time?
