Partly right and partly wrong.

you see that parking-codes in the aircraft.cfg file has to match up with the parking codes in the afcad. AND the airport has to be in the flight-plan for the aircraft.

BUT if the parking-code in the aircraft.cfg is wrong, and the airport is in the flight-plan, the aircraft is bound to show up at the airport at sometime.

ex.: Say the USAF F16 has the parking code SASX in the aircraft.cfg and EKCH is one of the destinations in the flightplan.

SASX is a parking-code used for Scandinavian and Codeshares (simply said).

This combination will at some moment place the USAF F16 at the gates in the domestic area of EKCH !

I guess Tantris hasn't been through the validations as explicit as for example PAI's plans has. simply because the object were more flights and realism wasn't.

As i said before: If your goal is to fill your skies with traffic, Tantris does a pretty good job, but if your after realism, there has to be some cleaning up to do!....

I hope this sets somethings in order?

Are the PAI aircraft the same as FS Traffic?

I think that the Tantris package is/was a collection of many AI-packages, including PAI, aardwerk, fsai, woai etc. how many and which precisely I can't remember....

Sorry just read you question again ;-)

No PAI's arcrafts are their own...but good enough for AI-traffic. NOT for first-hand flying, they are exclusively AI-aircrafts.

Thanks Dan, thought the first reply was alittle odd, I even went to re-read my question.

Well, not always their own (just to confuse things a little further  ). They get their aircraft from a variety of sources, I think the bu  k of them are FSPainter aircraft, but they have been getting some from other sources recently, so FPS have seen some improvements.

You are of course right Andy.

But to be precise on the matter I would refer to their own web-site for further investigation:

WOW! I just loaded up Heathrow Pro for the first time with this AI pack installed and.... whoa. Top down view is exactly like a sat photo!!!

I thought pack was good when I saw the traffic at Liverpool and Manchester, but at Heathrow its just plain amazing.

FPS wasnt much different even at 8aa 16af and 1280*1024!

Also I was flying around Liverpool, and saw Easy 616. About 10 minutes later when I was listening to my scanner the real Easy 616 came on the radio!
