Must be the RM paint because it can't be the aircraft. 
Although RM paint looks fantastic on the mail van in the painting below.

That whole scene is fantastic Brian The RM livery didn't look too bad on the Viscount. It's probably not that bad on the 737. It's the 737 that's pig ugly

Poor 737. Regarding the painting, the artist's name is Howard Fogg. Howard was an American fighter pilot based in England during the war. The man definitely knew how to paint.
