Okay, here we go:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B467nN ... sp=sharing

That should allow you to download the documents. the file is 7zip - I take it you will know what to do with it. Also, I made the original files in MS Works format, but converted them to rtf for ease of access for others before uploading. Some of the formatting might be different, but the docs are fine.

Here is an example of how they are done:

Have fun. :)

More news - the WWII Normandy project has fallen flat on its backside (as many predicted, due to the waster who was running the thing) but the bits have been picked up by DCS.

Now the aircraft wiill be released individually and cost $40 each. There is a deal for anyone who pledged over $20 on the Kickstarter campaign to get their aircraft at half price, depending on how much was pledged (each plane being $20 instead of $40 and any odd payments tough luck - the $10 is lost!) along with the Normandy terrain for free.

Anyone who pledged less than $20 (ahem... never trusted the guy anyway) has lost their money as far as the aircraft are concerned, but has just been given $20 worth of bonus points on their DCS account. So my $2 pledge just got raised by 10x!
We also get our names in the credits in the manual. W00T!! (see - I can do it now, too! )

The predicted release dates are:
August 2014 – Fw 190 D-9 Dora
October 2014 - BF-109K
December 2014- Spitfire IX
March 2015 - P-47D-30
May 2015 - Normandy Map with period AI units
Other features like the Me.262A-1 and AI-only B-17G are also in development we but do not have a delivery data estimate at this time until these other features are further along.
If you want a chance of winning a free F-86F Sabre and Hawk T1A for DCS World, look here:

Just to update on the WWII Normandy project - anyone who backed the project with $1 to $19 now gets either a free P-51D or a free fw-190D.

Personally, I already have the P-51D and I have zero interest in any WW German stuff, so it looks like I'll be getting the 190 and selling it on rather quickly. It's due out in a couple of months, so if anyone wants to make me an offer you are welcome to do so. (I'd also be quite happy to swap it for one of the other allied aircraft ;) ).

Edit: Shows how popular it will be with others - sold already! And a nice $18 profit for me, too! :)

Seems VEAO didn't get a licence from BAe to make the DCS:Hawk before they started (and announced the upcoming release to all and sundry). That's what the hold up is now - trying to get BAe to allow it and get a legal agreement signed.

Much as I don't like knocking decent devs, but this is quite frankly astonishing. Words fail me. :poke:

I'd love to see DCS cover the Vietnam air war, Rolling Thunder particularly. They could start small - say an F-105, SA-2 system, and the appropriate version of the forthcoming Mig 21. Of course a large accurate map of North Vietnam would be the big challenge, but as more types of aircraft, radars, AAA and SAMs were added, it would be very interesting indeed. :)

Quick-start 'manual' for the F-86F has been released (link is to dev post on ED forum with download link for pdf):

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2 ... ostcount=8

They are still sticking to a release date this month - but we always get some kind of cop-out clause with every single announcement that DCS simmers are by now well used to meaning don't expect it until it's on your disc. *-)

Update: It is supposed to be released this Saturday. As usual these days, they are calling it a 'Public beta' release. That means having an excuse when you find bugs with it! ;)

Thanks for the update John. Don't think I'll be getting this, at least not yet. Will probably get the Hawk when it comes out though.
Got my Hunter flying, not like a Hunter, but at least its airbourne  Just working through the animations. Bit of a pain as they need to be redone using a different system :wall:

I don't envy you that, Dave, but it's good to hear it's coming along.

I know a lot of people are hoping that DCS World will turn out to be the next FSX - only with higher fidelity flight dynamics and systems, with multi-role options (civvy, combat, SAR, support etc, etc).

The Sabre is available to buy already - it ain't cheap, though.

£31-ish ($49.99) full price. $15 of bonus can be used in the DCS shop - which reduces the price to £31 through Paypal @ $1.65 = £1.

I've bought mine, so I'll post some nice screenies of some AG action once I get the hang of it :agree:

In the meantime, here is the quick start-up video:

That cockpit does look very nice!
