I've been playing around this afty with setting up FSUIPC and that new ORBX AI pack, and I thought I would finish off with a flight in the MkVI 'transport'...it still got a bomb aimer's position, fully laden bomb bay, and the nose-mounted .303s. Quite a lethal 'transport' I'd like to see an update that got rid of those features. Nevertheless, I really love this model, and have been exploring it more.

Looking forward from the navigators position. The jump seat ( arrowed ) can be clicked on so that its back rest comes up. If you then go to the external view, the bomb aimer has moved out of the nose and is sitting in the jump seat. That box of emergency controls ( lower edge, centre ) has a sliding cover. Another nice touch.

Don't ask me what that big shiny thing is...at first I thought it might be some strange musical instrument, but I assume its a torch, or something.

The navigator's position, complete with radios, flight instruments and that radar upper left

The radar is functional and can be set to show terrain, nav aids, AI aircraft and terrain.

I think I'll go with hair dryer. Those patrols over the Atlantic were long and tiring, so you had to provide some comforts for the crew; sandwiches, a Thermos of soup or coffee, and hair dryers.
