I've had my crimbo dinner, 2 pints of Ringwood, fed the dog and now I want to get my head down whereupon I'll wake up hungry again
Have a good one guy's and don't look too disappointed at all the socks you'll be getting. My Labrador opened all mine before I got a chance and other than 2 DVD sets I bought myself, she found the socks.. and plenty of em

Got CoD Black Ops which I'm just about getting round to installing (why do I always get the last go on my own PC?). Happy Christmas to one and all - I hope it was a good one for everyone, here's to a long and (very) prosperous New Year (as if) and a thaw as soon as possible please!
Regards,
Chris

Been on nights for the last three nights, its the last one tonight then off until 5th January.
Certainly been a mixed bad of shifts so far. Christmas always is - Mad busy or mega quiet.
Christmas eve was like the graveyard shift compared to last night which had most people I came across completely rat arsed having been on the lash all day then wanting to fight the world come the night time..joy!
To top it all I got injured at work last tuesday afternoon and done some damage to the cartilage in my right knee. So I'm hobbling around the place at the moment.
Thank god its the last shift tonight. I need the healing powers of several beers next week!

Hi mate,
No I returned to my old dept back in March.
I will be going back there at some point. I passed all my Sgt's exams this year so would welcome an acting spot there when the chance arises.
Unfortunately promotions are currently on hold everywhere due to cutbacks.

That's what Labradors are for, Used to have one myself. watched 'Marley and Me' on Christmas Eve and thought I know that dog from somewhere!
Anyway Happy belated Christmas to everybody. Had to work but was on call, it all started kicking off about 1530 just as I was about to finish my shift so I missed it. Which was fortunate.
