I suppose they are bigger with all that dirt on.. :worried:

Have a look at the phot in this link. It's far from conclusive but it does look that they are black and not dirty.. see what you think :)

EDIT..
There are some more shots on here too.. a lovely site ;-)

Btw.. intro in morse code is VVV VVV VVV GKYV GKYV. I'd have thought the VVV's should have been followed by DE (this is) but there you go ;-)

Is this the Eagle that was originally an Alphasim project?

It looks great and will be a great addition!

Bu&&ered if I can tell either way Dave - I need a bigger telly; either that or a magnifying glass. 'Tis true to say though that the aerials do look much less obtrusive in the photos than in the sim version. I do know that on the smaller stuff in the 70's the aerials are the same grey as the hull. BTW, I can't remember are we aerials, or is we antenna? (antenni perhaps for more than one).

Kind Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris..

We are most definately aerials in the UK mate. Call em anything else and nasty things can happen

That's what I thought and yes I do remember a strong injunction not to call 'em antenna unless pain was more of a friend than a foe  . Another BTW, have you have ever heard of Evernesence (spelling?), one of their tracks has feint morse running through it, sounds like about 20-22 wpm but my hearing is not what it was (bakerlight headphones were a bu&&er!) so I can't quite make it out. A free copy of FD5 for the first man to crack it ;-)

Kind Regards,
Chris

I have not heard that particular track but a quick Google search came up with the following info...

http://www.netmusiccountdown.com/inc/ne ... hp?id=6106

...now whether it is actual morse or just noise is open to debate of course.

I know I have heard several tracks which contain real morse code and the local radio station here is frequently playing a track with morse in the intro, choruses and ending but my morse reading skills are so rusty these days I have not been able to decode it.

Hmmmm.....maybe I should break out all my keys and my oscillator and get back up to speed again!

Ah yes.. My Immortal  I think I'd already considered that as music rather than morse.
