Bi-simul......that's a good one

Right I see.....well, I'm sure someone will pop in soon and help you out.

I don't have the Beaufighter as i don't have FS.X :-(

The bump map files are in the main Beaufighter texture folder which contains all the shared textures , not the individual scheme texture folders.

There never has, nor will, be a FS9 version of my Beaufighter.

Thanks Dave,

I completely overlooked that folder :$

Thanks for the great bird.

I`ll have to wait for a new PC to have the Beaufigter in all it`s beauty.

Best regards

Installed SP2 and made no difference with the Beau sounds.
SP2 degrades performance for me. I get graphics glitches, blurred runways, flashing images and stutters.
Tried latest nvidia drivers and rebuild of fsx.cfg to no avail.
As it made no impact to the sounds problem I have uninstalled SP2.

The problem I get with the sounds is this.
When I start one or other of the engines I get correct startup and idle sounds.
When I start the other engine sound increases dramatically, idle sounds dissapear and engines
sound like they are revving. If I go to max throttle untill the sounds go from a gruff note to a lighter
more throbby note and then back to idle I get the idle sounds. If I then go to external and back problem is back again.

Could this be a sound card driver problem or something to do with FSX and sound channells?
Guess it's something peculiar with my setup.

I used to have exactly the same problem with some sounds before SP2, but it's been fine since installing it :dunno:

I share your difficulty. How do you download any files from this site? There appears to be no Download link on the Home page; everything seems to lead to the Gallery and no further. The email address on the Home page has no link, and when typed out, just bounces back anyway, and even this Forum has no link back to the Home page. A most frustrating experience! HELP

Hi Dvisman.

I would suggest a forum called "New releases and support" was fairly self explanitory. ;-)
