"Oh this year I'm off to sunny Spain" - I can hear them now. :doho:

I was going to also do a 60s version along side it Tom, but chickened out when I realised how tricky the terminal building was going to be.
The 70s one is easy with its concrete & tinted glass facade, whearas the 60s one is a bit more intricate.
And my terminal model is very much like a film set, if you go round the back it's a few grey boxes, but all that is hidden by the nice big multi-storey carpark.
That wasn't there in the early to mid 60s, so it would need the other side modelling & it's not the easiest building.
Other than that it is a reasonably simple job. I'm sure I will get around to doing it.

Hi,

Thanks David, I'll be looking forward to it. I certainly use all the tricks to ease the modeling load as well. :)

Well David, as a long time devotee of your Comet in particular, I am happy to admit to a right and proper respect and admiration for all your work.
Your wry humour very much completes the picture.
But now I discover your are also a true Blue, it all adds up. A sense of humour a must!

I used to cycle from Stretford with my mates and stand among the landing lights of 24 as a kid watching Comets, among others, coming straight towards me and whistle/roar over my head. I can't remember how we did that - I think it involved climbing fences.
Of course that was back in the early sixties I guess.

Keep up the great work!

Question to the great CBFS oricle, where does one procure AI aircraft like the above ?, I have world of AI but nothing classic like the above, l need to get in the mood for some 50s-70s projects l'm doing :-# .

I found this out today, go to the Aardvark website here: - http://www.ai-aardvark.com/aiaircraft/aiaircraft.html

WOAI uses many of the models, you will already have them, just download some of the retro liveries from the site, paste them into (for instance) the 727-200 WOAI folder and alter the cfg file accordingly. It is really easy but if you need more help PM me.
