Hi Leif,
That's because we're not a 'one man' show matey

John and I have had this (and many others) under consideration for a while but due to operational constraints, are not in a position to go out and buy whatever we fancy

Having a model of this quality is certainly a step in the right direction

That's the original updated aircraft, not the fixes. Typically these take a few days to reach the other sites. You can have a lot of hours put in using the flight director and the IAS hold in that time!

Thanks for HU on updates Simon.
I remember the prototype visiting Guernsey in 1978 C-GNBX ( ) and liking the aircraft from the 1st time I saw her.
Am now enjoying flying one in the FS world

It's a classic, fer sure. One of a handful, well small hatful these days, of FS planes to have a palpable sense of `mass` to go with its manoeuvrability - just like Ricks' 748/780, Dave's Dragon Rapide, the Chippie, Saab Safir and a few others.
Just like the 748 (and the YS11, and a few others) there is a finite limit to how steep the approach can be and still make the flare and land without excessive descent rates. Magic! It's a key factor in a successful flight model for me. :kissu:

It's very nice and all, but I think Mr Piper still has the edge over it
