The Auster you are referring to Martin could have been the one by James Eden from New Zealand...sadly it was never completed for several reasons... :crying:

I do have a load of info and good drawings here for the Auster but I recognise the fact that as any modeller will tell you....they need to be 'Grabbed' by the idea of making one...inspiration and a love for a certain aeroplane is THE driving force behind the magnificent creations we are blessed with here by our resident model makers.

Having said all that, I for one would certainly like to see a good quality Auster built as I remember seeing so many at our local airport in Gloucestershire in the 60's before the inevitable American influence of imported aircraft such as the Cessna's and the Pipers dominated the Civil flying scene.
