I have no idea, it could be Promesh or the default, I don't think the Horizon Ireland mesh reaches that far.

I'll do the flatten in two halves then, one each side of the river and then play with the mesh. Might give swan hunters a go if this works

It would be good to do Vickers slipway. I used to live on the hill opposite Vickers and we had a good view of the launches.

Definitely, I really don't know much about the local history but I hate that everything gets filled in and replaced by flats that nobody can afford. Its like we want to pretend that we were never industrial and we never did manual labour, everything is being replaced by clinically clean smoke free germ free trendy crap.

Here we go...

I have compiled it and it looks ok, but the mesh is just default so it looks rubbish. I've ordered NEXTMap UK and Ireland from FS Genisis which is a 10m mesh, not as good as the rest of the UK, but should be better than default. Once I get it downloaded I'll post some screenies...

My FS9 has gone berserk, square clouds which flash on & off, aircraft start half buried in the runway.......bllllphphphph!
So, I put the shortened and recoloured hut at Lydd in FSX.

Hi George,

I've compiled my SBX file and that side of things seems to work. I've drawn the polys as per the earlier image and the water is in the places it should be but its not quite having the desired effect. This may be because the mesh isn't detailed enough, or more likely, I doing something else wrong. If we ignore that I need to redo the water mask for the photo tile for now, and I need to replace some of the objects as they are sitting too low, I'm getting a "lumpy sea." My thinking is that this might be because I've drawn my hydro poly "too close" to the flatten, or there is something else I should be doing before I compile the BGL. Do you have any advice?

The Hydro poly has a constant altitude of 0 and the flattens have a constant altitude to points of 5 metres if that's what you mean?
