Hi Garry,Apologies if this has been asked before, but was there any particular reason that made you decide to model the Mk 32 as opposed to the Mk 31? ATB EricT

Hi Eric
Indeed there was
I wanted one
Apart from that I used to see them several times a day but only very rarely saw any other marks
Thease wer the more famous..at the time..... and the specialist car ferry version and as such a very British subject
It is perhaps hard for the younger members to see how these 22 aircraft were far better known to the public than the 182 short nosed machines but it was the car ferry that made them so famous ..........and of course I had the Airfix model.
In addition a Superfreighter has never been made for Flight simulator

Hi Garry. That seems fair enough.Have you seen 'Independent Airlines' by Avion?Among many other Gems, there are shots of Superfreighters including cine clips taken through the window during a flight, including landing.Magic!

I have Eric
It's a flight from Lydd to Le Touquet
Spoilt though by the airport shots where that have a Superfreighter landing with the sound of one taking off dubbed on :doho:
Another film with Superfreigters was the Morcombe and Wise film called The Rivera Touch.
They fly to France on one.
Generally though films of the Bristol 170 in general are rare and Superfrighters even rarer :-(
