I well remember the 18 hour girdle...but never wore one :roll: :lol:

I was thirteen before I was aloud to wear long trousers other than jeans....and they were only for playing out in.

Virtually all way clothes except shoes ere from jumble sales......hardly anything new.

Even things like a Mecanno set for Christmas was second hand. :sad:

Short trousers let you 'breath' in those days, none of this tight and skimpy look of today! :worried:
