You can say that again! Much though I was a Graham Hill supporter, Jim Clark was plain awesome. I was at the last meeting at Goodwood, and he won the F1, F2, Saloon Car AND the Sports Car race, all in one meeting! I think it was the only race the Lotus 40 ever won (a Lotus 30 with 10 more faults...)

I have the prog but can NOT get it to run on a Win2K system, and the makers have long vanished. Did you have to do any special tweaking?

Last system i played it on was a P4 3GHz, worked fine on that i think. Well worth popping over to
Racesim Central as those boys have plenty of knowledge.

I have just finished my training at Shawbury and i'm waiting till Monday to find out where i'm going to be based. I have a Merlin because it is what i'm hoping for, but there are no definates.

As a lifelong F1 fan who has seen every season that has been on telly for almost 40 years, and agrees with most of the sentiment written above.

Well done Pringle, it seems only yesterday that you said you were going up for the selection board. Good on you, is the Merlin a solo crewman aircraft or is a two hander like the wokka?

, the puma used to be pilot and crewman only, then 230 introduced a second pilot, just as I joined them.............funny that :think:

More overtaking in that clip-(I can remember it as if it was yesterday) than the whole of last season in F1.
Bring back slicks, only pitstops for tyres and get rid of computers in F1.
I still think the ITV F1 and press are going ott on young master Hamilton. He could be the next Jenson Button (over 100 GP before 1st win).

Still think Senna was far superior to our nige (and anyone else for that matter) especially in 1992 the year of the williams where he held mansell off at Monaco in the Mclaren Mp4/8 which wasn't a patch on the Williams.
Also in 1993 at Donington in the wet against prost that was the best 2 laps ever since the clip on youtube.

Sorry Amo, can't agree with that one, Nigel Mansell was a driver and would have won more than one championship if it hadn't been down to bad luck whereas Senna, although extremely good, did not drive by the book, he often appeared to take other cars off on purpose if it meant winning the championship.
Schumacher was also a good driver but displayed the same sort of tactics that Senna did whereas Nigel just raced and although he had his offs with other drivers, it was not done intentionally.
Even the great Jackie Stewart questioned Sennas' driving record.
