Which service did BA use this aircraft on? I expect the cost/passenger-seat-mile were very high! :lol:

Seriously though, what did BA use the Chipmunk for - training pilots, an employee flying club, hmm? It's a very attractive scheme!

BA had piper Warriors and Tomahawk painted up in full BA livery as part of the BA flying club

Not sure about the Chipmunk but light aircraft in full liveries have been quite common

Lufthansa King Airs and Piper Cheyenne
Martinair Cessna 172 and I think a FA-200
Air France Cessna 172
Dan Air Cessna 172
BMA Beech Baron
Britannia Cessna 421

And many many more

Some of these are crew ferries, some nav trainers like the Lufthansa twins
