DM pushed me the extra yard that got me making models (I'll kill him! )

Rick, would you please mind holding off until at least he's done a VC for the VC10 and the Comet.........!!!!

Whilst your loitering here on this thread many thanks for the wonderful aircraft that you have given us as well, have to say that one of my favourites that you have produced, believe it or not is the.................................Varsity!!

Hi Nigel

it's quite probable we will both be dead of natural causes by that time as i think there was a statement somewhere about "over my dead body" regarding VCs in comets & VC-10's a while back.

Regards
Rick

Whats it like flying your own models in the sim?
The CBFS VA has had me properly using the 1-11 & Trident at last and it's been great fun. Never had the desire to use them much in the past, it was just testing all the time.
Even finally learned to fly the prop models properly with the VA.

Yes, Peter M gave a lot of input in the final month of development on the Trident model & pushed the accuracy of the panel up, particularly the auto pilot.

I have actually got a Comet 4 VC on the go, but that's no cause for excitement. I've not touched it for months now & feel no desire to either.
It was planned as a venture into payware, as I was having motivational trouble doing an even bigger project as freeware.
But the thought of hard cash isn't making much difference!
Now FSX has really thrown cold water over everything. Maybe it will surface in FS11.
I just can't help thinking that FS9 might have been 'as real as it got'. :dunno:

Don't you just love those little throwaway comments!

I'm certainly more than happy with your projects to date; just when I think you've gone as far as you can you come out with another improvement - who could ask for more, although .........

BTW Am I the only one here who feels he should be tugging his forelock when DM passes through here?

Short answer NOPE - Im in awe of the whole bloody mess of builders, developers etc etc - I begin to understand how test pilots around the world felt in the presence of the designers - they give us these wonderful toys and
then we (the beta testers) go out and try to find fault - Their patience is often tried - but they listen and make little tweaks here and there and take input from maybe half a dozen different pilots and come out with the totally engrossing models we all know and love. Ok Ive just read back through this whole thread - Whos been putting love drugs in the Forums water supply????
  Its to damn pleasent - maybe it the coming holiday season or something - Even Fodda and his Yule wold have had something good to say
