That me me a bit homesick, where did the spangles go? i can say that i was there to see the very last rover SD1 come off the production line at Cowley Motor Works. before the rover 800 took over.
Also the sail the seas in steam turbine ships via the grey funnel line , they were the days.

A lot of the London Monarchs players were actually Americans, Chris, not sure who that is in the photo. The successor "Berlin Thunder" team is [almost?] entirely American, despite its name.
Leif was simply pointing out that Rugby (named after the town I am currently living in ), is similar to your football, only you dont get to wear all those poncey pads and helmets, just a gumshield and some sellotape to stop people biting your ears off.

There was a time when I loved Sainsburys pork pies - the ones with the egg in the middle - of course Im sure PC has had that removed as being a total
cholestrol killer
sainsbury's could not beat my mam's own cooked fritters. i do miss beef dripping on my toast, everyone over here runs into a blind panick when i mention this.
also lots of lovely butter on fresh bread, bugger the heart problems you only live once.
