I'm quite pleased you want that one Ben. Its fairly easy to pinch the IoM flag and do the earlier livery, but the stylised BA era one is trickier. The last time I did it was in FS98 on my 146 and Wigwam models!

Hi all,

What ever happeneed to Manx? And Ben do you like these liverys  I think this has to be the best livery ever on a BAe 146 and best livery around here it is  Image and another one Image

Manx and sister company BRAL were merged into BACX which became BA Connect which has just been sold to Flybe.

Toby,

As the 146 man, any idea what the colour were of the wing top and under surfaces on the Jersey European 146s?

The A.net photos are not too clear, but I'm beginning to think that they were white (and not the grey of the JM 146 paint kit).

I cant think of any 146 wings from any airline (other than maybe Royal Flight and maybe Northwest) that are anything other than white  Usually, the whole wing is white gloss save for the leading edges and the ailerons which are unpainted. Even the flaps and spoilers are white.

Thank you gentlemen :prayer:

Edit:

And of course James has to find the exception to the rule with G-JEBG

Indeed Ian

That's quite recent as well

I think it's fair to say exactly what Toby say .............with a normal airline livery

I suppose in the case of logo jets anything goes as the customer will pay

But it is quite normal for wings to be left and white goes with anything and may as well well just cleaned up or resprayed without the need foe expensive marking up.

Oh yeah I see the grey bits at the end off the Wings and on the back of the tail wing.

Hi,

Not that I'm requesting a repaint, but I think this looks really nice on this 146QT
