The RN birds (phase 2?) will look sharp parked on Seaking055's Ark Royal IV. In the meantime, here's the RAF rescue 'copter sitting on CVN-65's elevator:

Sadly for me, I am suffering from too many stutters with the Wessex.

However, with Brian's permission, and using the AI Helo files suggested by Ben W., I have it flying quite happily as AI without a stutter in sight. so if anyone is interested, drop me a PM with an addy and I will get the files I am using to you.

Hi,

Thank you Brian! I have been waiting for this one for a long time and the model is outstanding :)

And I'm even looking more forward to the navy models, so much that I had to make a Wessex HU.5 repaint... (and yes I know about the differences between the HU.5 and the RAF HC.2..)

"HU.5" of the Royal Navy, the old war chariot of the Royal Marines Commandos.

Really great model - flight characteristics seem excellent after a first hop. The Wessex joins the Lynx, Puma and Chinook in my Hanger (and its probably the best of the bunch). Well done! to all the connections.

Filonian,

Looks like you have some nasty mip-mapping and anti-aliasing issues going on on your system from the looks of those screen shots. The blurry textures are as a result of the mip-mapping and the noise or pixelation which you can see most clearly in the clouds can sometimes be caused by enabling aanti-aliasing on some graphics cards. Its often possible to have AA enabled through the settings on your graphics card's driver (accessible via display properties -> settings -> advanced on your desktop) rather than by using hte setting in FS's display options. Just a thought, it might help improve your FPS a bit

Thanks Toby.

Advice and guidance always most welcome, and I will give it a go later.

By the way, my graphics card is ATI Radeon 9600 Series.
