But not a lot of people know that three years earlier a VC10 landed on the moon en route to Mars. It wasn't recorded because the radio didn't work and they hadn't taken a spare.

Tragically the Mars expedition ended in a predictably British failure when they ran out of Spam just before they landed and opted to turn back to Earth for more supplies.

The navigator got overwhelmed when taking a star shot, flew into Uranus and they were never seen again. :madhead:

I had a look at this on Monday when I was at work TNT have removed all their titles and it does look a mess, the pictures at the top of th thread show the damage done to the rear wingroot and also it looked to me as if the rear fuselage was stressed pretty bad as it has ripples along it!

I think they are looking at a C17 for him if they go down the route of leasing "presidential" jets :lol:
